Congratulations to the outstanding students who completed Coastal Electric Cooperative’s 2026 Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow summer work study program!
In late July, these students celebrated their accomplishments and shared what they learned with parents, co-workers and senior co-op staff. Throughout the summer, they gained hands-on experience, built valuable skills, prepared for future careers and even took part in community service projects.

Pictured to the right with CEO Chris Fettes and Interim HR Manager Natalyn Morris are (l-r) Gabriel Rewis from McIntosh County Academy, and Adrian Jones, Jada Mason and Lilly Lugo from Richmond Hill High School.
If you know a high school junior who would be interested in participating in the Learners Today, Leaders Tomorrow work study program next summer, you can check the Connections newsletter in Georgia Magazine and follow Coastal Electric Cooperative’s social media accounts for more information. The co-op begins accepting applications each spring.
