Board of Directors

Coastal Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive is gov­erned by a pol­i­cy-mak­ing board of nine trustees, three each from the coun­ties of Bryan, Lib­er­ty, and McIntosh/Long. The direc­tors serve stag­gered terms of three years each. These direc­tors are elect­ed at-large at the Annu­al Meet­ing of the Mem­bers, and exer­cise all of the pow­ers of the coop­er­a­tive, except those reserved to the mem­bers, accord­ing to the bylaws of Coastal Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive.

The Coastal Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive Board of Direc­tors is elect­ed by co-op mem­bers and makes deci­sions in the best inter­est of the mem­ber­ship as a whole. Direc­tors live and work in the local com­mu­ni­ty and are co-op mem­bers them­selves.
