Holly Fields of Midway appointed to Coastal Electric Cooperative Board of Directors

Hol­ly Fields of Mid­way has been select­ed by the Coastal Elec­tric Coop­er­a­tive board of direc­tors to fill the unex­pired term of for­mer Lib­er­ty Coun­ty board mem­ber Stephen Mul­lice, who passed away in Octo­ber. The life­long Lib­er­ty Coun­ty res­i­dent attend­ed her first board meet­ing as a direc­tor Dec. 20, 2017.

“It is an hon­or to have the oppor­tu­ni­ty to serve on the board,” Fields said. “As I’ve learned more about our coop­er­a­tive and how it gives back to our com­mu­ni­ty, I am excit­ed to do my part to become an asset to the board and to our mem­bers.”

“I want to be more than just a part of this com­mu­ni­ty. I want to feel like I’m mak­ing a dif­fer­ence. I love this com­mu­ni­ty, I love the peo­ple here, and I love giv­ing back.”

Fields has worked for the City of Hinesville for 15 years and cur­rent­ly serves as Human Resources Man­ag­er. She is a proud grad­u­ate of Brad­well Insti­tute. Fields earned a bachelor’s of busi­ness admin­is­tra­tion from Geor­gia South­ern Uni­ver­si­ty and a mas­ter of arts degree in Human Resources from Web­ster Uni­ver­si­ty.

Fields and her hus­band, Nolan, have two daugh­ters – Ivy and Amber. The fam­i­ly attends Sun­bury Mis­sion­ary Bap­tist Church.
